Emma and Phil {Engagement Shoot in Nottingham}

Emma and Phil were one of those delightful bookings, where they were so laid back, they only book me a few weeks before their wedding (luckily I was free!) and so we squeezed their engagement shoot in just a week before their wedding. True to form, they were laid back and relaxed on the shoot and we had a lot of fun mooching about the Lace Market area of Nottingham, which was a significant place for Emma to visit with Phil as her parents met each other working in the Lace Market so it held some meaning to them. Emma and Phil live in London so they coincided the shoot with a visit to Nottingham just before their wedding, which took place the following week, and which you can view here. Its not often that I do more urban engagement shoots around Nottingham, so I really enjoyed finding some interesting and unusual spots for my couple portraits. I particularly liked shooting outside the Nottingham Contemporary, and Emma and Phil used this shot on their wedding day blown up super big so I was really pleased we found those lines. I also love the In Front Of These Gates picture. Sat in front of these gates without the ‘No Parking’ bit in view just tickled my sense of humour.
