Fen Farm Wedding

For their Fen Farm Wedding, Kelly and Ben had a super fun Fairground themed wedding in Lincolnshire at the gorgeous Fen Farm. Their first date was at a fairground, so they themed their wedding appropriately, with a gorgeous vintage Carousel as the main attraction. I had such good fun photographing their wedding, and it totally had that fairground feel to it. What a day!

Kelly and Ben pulled out all the stops for their fun filled Fen Farm wedding, lovingly creating all the details for a real home farm DIY feel to the day. From invites, to signage it was all hand made by this talented and creative pair. The farm is a great spot to create your own wedding day around what you want for the day allowing you to put your stamp on proceedings without being constrained in any way. I love a farm wedding. The rustic feel it gives and the laid back atmosphere it lends itself too really suits my vibe. These two had a great time and really made things their own.

Meeting Carolyn

Another fantastic thing to come out of Kelly and Ben’s wedding was meeting fellow photographer Carolyn Brown, who became my second shooter for years to come and a firm friend. We had many good times photographing weddings together after this one. So I’ll not forget meeting this blonde bombshell bridesmaid at Kelly and Ben’s wedding!

Ben and Kelly created all the details of their wedding themselves and did such a fantastic job. I loved Kelly’s bridesmaids Special K red dresses, and the groomsmen’s stripy bow-ties. The whole wedding party looked amazing against the blue skies, the hay bales and the gorgeous carousel. What a lovely wedding to photograph. Congratulations Kelly and Ben.
