East Bridgford Hill Wedding:
Laura and Andy live in London but got married at East Bridgford Hill, close to Laura’s family home in Nottinghamshire. Despite making a life for themselves in the big smoke, Laura is a self confessed country girl at heart. Having grown up amidst fields and horses and mud. This bodes well for a photographer who was keen to get them into the adjacent wheat field for photos. Laura and Andrew and all their bridesmaids and groomsmen were such great sports. We got some fantastic photos in the golden evening light.
Laura looked absolutely stunning. She wore her very long hair loose, with a gorgeous fishtail plait down the back. Styled perfectly by Mon Amie Wedding Hair and set off by a beautiful flower crown made by Floraldeco, who also supplied the gorgeous peachy bouquets. The bridesmaids also had flowers in their hair. They too looked stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing them all.
Laura took a horse and carriage to church, which was amazing. She arrived in style and was met by her handsome groom, who wore pinstripe tails. The wedding was a mixture of Old school romantic and country bohemian. The marquee was decorated stunningly with more flowers by the amazing Floraldeco and a cake by Yummy Little Cakes, both fantastic Nottinghamshire suppliers who I have worked with before.
Andy and Laura are clearly a fantastic match, they know each other inside out, and like all of the best marriages, fit like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. I was delighted to photograph their day and so pleased they were up for stepping into a muddy field for some gorgeous romantic photos that I really hope they will treasure forever. Thanks to my second shooter Mark.
Really lovely wedding, I love how clean and bright your editing style is. Well done!
Wow looks like you had a right range of weather, wind, sun and rain, all captured perfectly. Love the rickety tiled roof and her smile is perfect.
