Sandie and Ross are such a lovely couple and I knew right away their wedding would be super fun, laid back and beautiful. Since they live in the high peaks, it was only fitting that they also married in the beautiful peak district. Their wedding at the Peak Edge Hotel was lovely and the hotel provided a fitting backdrop for this country loving couple, with its rolling hills, and plenty of green. The two put a lot of work into the DIY details including growing their own wild flowers to put in jam jars and on the table centres. The effect was very pretty. Another unique touch was that they both created their own little areas at the wedding. ‘Sandie’s Sanctuary’ and ‘Ross’ Retreat’. I loved this. And it was great getting some shots of the bridesmaids on hay bales in ‘Sandie’s Sanctuary’ and the men competing at golf wearing heart shaped shades 😉 I also loved the unusual wedding cake. It was beautifully made by Sandie’s mum. Overall, a super fun wedding that reflected their friendly and relaxed personalities.
