Playing with shadows:

A few more of Dave painting. This time, I decided to play around with using really low light, and playing with shadows more. I love how the light bounces off Dave’s hands and the lighter parts of the painting. This was fun. And how lovely is that autumnal painting. Now on the wall in our dining room 🙂 Dave paints with oil paints on large canvases. His paintings are abstract and often evoke nature in some way. He is a full time town planner, with an interest in architecture and design. This also inspires his painting and drawing. I really enjoy photographing him at work on his art.
