Wedding at Goosedale Conference Centre:
Leah and Claudius got married at The Good Shepherd and had the rest of their wedding at Goosedale Conference Centre in Papplewick. It was a lovely sunny day, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Leah and Claudius are two of the nicest people you can meet. They are so laid back, nothing seemed to bother them at all. I loved photographing them. Leah was particularly laid back about her dress, which looked stunning on her, and you wouldn’t believe me if I told you it cost her £30 from a Ebay! She bought it as a joke, then decided she loved it! What a bargain!
The family pooch couldn’t keep away from her dress either, so it was a good job Leah was as chilled out as she was. I think the dog features in my photos almost as much as the bride during prep. I just love how involved he wanted to be throughout proceedings. Clearly just wanted to get in all my photos, and did a pretty good job of it!!
Leah’s bouquet by Forget Me Notts in Nottingham was really pretty as were all the button holes. I really enjoyed the ceremony and getting shots of everyone on the steps of the church afterwards. There was so much joy and happiness on everyone’s faces, it was pretty hard not to get a good photo. Claudius’s groomsmen were very nice. They were good fun and looked after us at the wedding, making sure myself and my second shooter were well fed (yummy Jamaican food too!) Overall a fantastic wedding, with fantastic people and a good fun day had by all. Thanks to my second shooter Simon for helping me capture it all.
