Southwell wedding

Norwood Park is one of my favourite Southwell wedding venues. It sits in the heart of Southwell and makes a great location for a stylish wedding. It is always a pleasure therefore to go back year on year for more weddings there. The staff are lovely and the venue is beautiful. Consequently, I am always discovering new nooks and crannies to shoot in, and I therefore look forward to my next wedding there!

Emily and Martin’s wedding in Southwell

Emily and Martin got married in a beautiful Southwell wedding at Norwood Park. It was a beautiful day and a great start to my wedding season. So I met Emily and her bridesmaids at Norwood to capture all the getting ready moments. It was a lovely relaxed, and fun vibe getting ready. I also particularly enjoyed taking portraits in the en-suite bathroom! Yep, I made the bridesmaids stand between the loo and the bath for portraits because I liked the wallpaper. They look all glam and gorgeous from the waist up 😉

Mrs Umbels:

My wonderfully talented friend Mrs Umbels was doing the florals, and she did a fabulous job. All those peonies looked (and smelled) lush! The cakes were also pretty fab and colourful. I also liked all the touches of stationery that Emily had designed herself. Martin and his groomsmen scrubbed up well, and the pair made quite a handsome couple. I loved taking their portraits in the evening amongst the cherry blossom orchard. It was quite special. Finally, thanks to my second shooter Mark for helping me capture the day.
