10 from this wonderful London Engagement Shoot at The Barbican

I met Sarah and Gary in London last weekend for a little pre-wedding shoot before their wedding in August. Meeting in the pub – the two of them plus the littlest of their three children (they left their boys with grandma) we headed over to the Barbican Centre for some lovely photos against the backdrop of that wonderful ugly brutalist architecture. I have always wanted to do an engagement shoot at the Barbican Centre. All the lines of the architecture and the little pockets of light are a photographer’s dream. It is not the most obvious place in London for photographs. But I love it. Its such an interesting place to walk around. We also went into the garden room, which I had never been in before. It was amazing. A little too crowded for many photographs. But such a wonderful spot. Definitely keen to go back!
