Wedding Photography at Rufford Mill
Lucy and Chris are super cute and I flippin’ loved photographing them. It was great to be back for some wedding photography at Rufford Mill and the day was super lovely. I met Lucy and her bridesmaids at Centre Parcs, whilst they were getting ready. Ducks waddled around outside the cabin whilst I took pictures of Lucy; her dress hitched up to avoid the rain water. I was fully expecting a rainy wedding, which didn’t phase me. I don’t mind a bit of wedding day rain. But within no time the skies cleared and we were treated to a day of bright sunshine instead. Lucy and her family had decked out the mill with copious amounts of flowers. Her dad had been growing them for weeks and the place looked incredible. I even got to take a pot home!
Portraits
Rufford Mill is set in the beautiful grounds of the Rufford Abbey estate, and there is a gorgeous large lake that is lovely to walk around, providing perfect spots for portraits with pockets of sunlight everywhere. I loved doing Lucy and Chris’ couple portraits. We had a lovely stroll around the lake in the evening, stopping here and there for photos, and even bumping into friends along the way who had decided to do the same.
The evening party and dancing was so much fun. Jemstone DJs played some banging tunes and I particularly enjoyed everyone jumping around to Mr Blue Sky amongst other family faves. What a great day. Here are 10. I can’t wait to edit the rest. You can see more photos in their slide show, and other weddings at Rufford Mill are on my blog here.
