Carla Llanos

I met Carla in her Nottingham studio to photograph her at work for the Society 6 blog: Outside the Lines. I was commissioned to photograph Carla with her art. It was such a lovely photoshoot. Carla is genuinely so nice, and her work is wonderful. She unusually uses the digital medium of the iPad for her drawings, which I found fascinating. I loved her connection with the female, which really resonated with the feminist in me. And the way she drew on her culture and heritage in her art. Here are a few of my photos from the shoot.
