Lisa and Richard’s wedding was a joy to photograph. From preparations, where I photographed her beautiful Benjamin Roberts dress next to the dolls house her father had built her as a child, to the fun fuelled dancing at the end of the day. I enjoy photographing a bride in the house where she grew up as it is always full of memories and nostalgia. Lisa had four bridesmaids in green, and two flower girls with the cutest goldilocks curls. Lisa bought her bridesmaids name necklaces as gifts to wear on the day, and as a big ‘Sex and the City’ fan, I thought these Carrie necklaces were so cute, and have since bought a ‘Kathryn’ necklace for myself. 🙂 Lisa herself wore a bold necklace that just looked stunning on her and set off the dress beautifully, giving her look a regal 18th Century feel. I loved it. Again, we were all blessed with beautiful sunshine (I am touching wood and wondering how long my luck can last!) which made jenga on the lawn the perfect pastime for the guests, who all looked to be having a super time. Thanks to my second shooter Clare Richards who went above and beyond at this wedding and the next. Please enjoy the photos…
