Emma and Phil {Wedding at the Walled Garden, Nottingham}

Emma and Phil had an understated yet absolutely beautiful wedding at the walled garden in Beeston. The attention to detail in all the pretty that adorned the reception area in the marquee was exquisite, and we couldn’t stop photographing it. Emma and Phil did things their own way, and their own way was creative and thoughtful, with lovely touches throughout such as lots of Nottingham lace, which was a nod to Emma’s roots, as her parents met in the famous Lace Market, Nottingham. Family clearly meant a lot to the pair and it was lovely to be a part of this lovely wedding and welcomed warmly into their family home. Emma looked stunning in a very simple wedding dress that really suited her slim figure and looked so elegant with the long veil that her mother wore for her own wedding. I absolutely love those little personal touches that become such an important part of the wedding day. We stopped off at Wollaton Park after the ceremony for some shots of the two of them before it started raining. Actually I think it was raining a bit at the time, but Phil and Emma were fantastic and didn’t let it phase them. I loved the pink flamingos that Emma had sourced to place around the walled garden. Such fun to photograph. Thank you to my second shooter, the very talented Chris Seddon.
