Eliza and Michael {Wedding, Henley in Arden}

Eliza-Jane and Michael married at Knowle Parish Church in such a beautiful, joyful ceremony. I really enjoyed the hymns, which were sung with such gusto. After the ceremony, we hung around for a few pictures in the spitting rain, and then made out way to Henley Golf Club for the reception. Eliza bravely donned my wellies for some photos on the golf course. I got some lovely shots of Michael and his groomsmen with a variety of different coloured ladies umbrellas. I fully believe you have to embrace rain at a wedding. It stopped enough for photographs and we also had such a gorgeous moody sky. On the few weddings I have had this year where it has rained, I have had SUCH a good time. SO to all future brides and grooms out there, don’t be afraid of a little rain on your wedding day. Embrace it, like these guys did and you will have a fantastic day! Eliza looked beautiful. I loved her bouquet, which was made by a family friend. It was a fun wedding, and they are clearly a couple who are well loved by many people. Thanks to Ben Redgate for second shooting with me. Credit must also go to the fantastic band Audio Chaff, and the cake by Juci Luci’s cupcake factory.
