Wedding Photography at Donington Park Farmhouse:

I do love doing wedding photography at Donington Park Farmhouse. This one was no exception. Furthermore the styling was so pretty and rustic, suiting the venue choice perfectly. Joanna and Stephen married at their own church Holy Trinity Church in Leicester, then went on to have the rest of their wedding at Donington Park Farmhouse for the reception. After their engagement shoot in Bradgate Park, I knew I would love photographing them. They make such a cute couple and Joanna looked particularly gorgeous on her wedding day.

A close family

I also loved photographing Joanna with her brothers and sisters in the fields out the back. One of my favourite shots was of her and her 2 sisters and 2 brothers taking selfie. Love pictures of selfies being taken. Coming from a big family myself (one of 4) I really appreciate these sibling relationships and really love capturing some of this magic on my camera. They all had so much fun together and it was just wonderful to photograph, since the family were such a special part of Joanna and Stephen’s wedding day.

Rustic prettiness

Their wedding day was laid back and fun and really pretty. Firstly those gorgeous table decorations and secondly the yummy scrummy looking cake by Fondant Fancy! To top it off, they had a barn dance in the evening, which was good fun. Thanks to my second shooter Beth for sterling work as always. I love a bit of rustic charm that a barn wedding will offer. All those wooden beams and farm doors and tractors and fields of wheat. Such a wonderful setting for a wedding. And really great to photograph a wedding here.
