Laura and Sandy {Wedding at Henley Golf and Country Club}

Natural, Fun and Relaxed

Laura and Sandy got married at St Marks Church in Leamington Spa and had their reception at the Henley Golf and Country Club. They said they wanted their wedding to be natural, fun and relaxed, and it was just that. It was a beautiful wedding attended by many friends and family.

I spent the morning with Laura and her bridesmaids at her home in Coventry. It was a lovely relaxed part of the day. I loved Laura’s superman onesie. It made for some very fetching pre-wedding dress photos 😉

A great team

I worked alongside the brilliant guys from Elegance Films to capture the story of Laura and Sandy’s day. You can see their film here. And my fantastic second shooter Gavin was a great asset on the day. Capturing some great moments during groom preparations.

The Wedding

The church ceremony was beautiful. Laura arrived at the church, and we took a few portraits with bridesmaids. Then she walked down the aisle to meet her groom.

After confetti and photos we all made our way to Henley Golf and Country Club for the reception. There were games on the lawn and I got loads of lovely natural shots of friends and family milling around. As well as some more ad hoc group photos. We did two couple shoots with Laura and Sandy. We got some lovely photos both in the afternoon and the evening. Exploring different locations around the Country Club.

Picture Perfect

It was a fabulous day. Laura looked amazing in her dress. I particularly liked the long lace sleeves, and button up back. Stunning. Sandy and his groomsmen (brothers) scrubbed up well too, with splashes of red to match the bridesmaids dresses. The day finished with a fantastic Ceilidh band. I do love a good Ceilidh! A gorgeous wedding to photograph. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
