A Thrumpton Hall Wedding

Jo and Nick had a beautiful Thrumpton Hall wedding in September. It was a lovely day and I enjoyed photographing their wedding.

Preparations

I met Jo and the girls at her mum’s house to photograph bridal preparations and getting ready, whilst my second shooter Carolyn met the boys at Jo and Nick’s house. It is always really nice to get to see both sides of the morning in the photos and I particularly loved going through Carolyn’s gorgeous photographs of Nick on the morning of the wedding.

The Venue

Jo and Nick got married at church in a lovely ceremony before getting cars to Thrumpton Hall for their reception. Jo and Nick were both very relaxed and were a joy to photograph. I loved photographing Jo in the grounds of Thrumpton Hall. There is a black and white photo that shows off the gorgeous back of her Sophia Tolli wedding dress beautifully and she looks absolutely stunning!

Friendly and Fun

Jo and Nick’s friends and family were lots of fun to be around and we enjoyed partying with them into the evening and grabbing some great dance floor action both with our cameras and having a good old dance ourselves! I do love getting on the dance floor with my camera at the end of the night. What better way to photograph the evenings dancing than right in the middle of the dance floor, whilst having a boogie myself!

It was a pleasure to work with some excellent videographers at Jo and Nick’s wedding. Geoff and his assistant Luke from Our Wedding Videographers were great to work alongside. They produce exquisite wedding videos that really need to be seen! I will post a link up to Jo and Nick’s wedding video at the bottom of this post.
