Hayley & Chris get married at the River Mill in Darley Abbey
The River Mill is the sister wedding venue to The West Mill in Darley Abbey. It is the perfect venue for a low key intimate wedding and suited Hayley and Chris’ nuptials down to the ground. It was my first wedding at this lovely venue but I hope to shoot there again. The venue was simple and intimate with a lovely little riverside location for portraits and family groups.
A lovely rustic venue:
Much like its sister venue, The West Mill, the River Mill is full of rustic charm. However, on a much smaller scale. It suits smaller more intimate weddings well and has a lovely intimate, cosy rustic feel to proceedings. I photographed the ceremony, took a few details and then photographed confetti, family groups and portraits. Hayley and Chris just booked me for my mini package. So I wasn’t with them long. But if you want the full day covered, I am happy to stay longer and capture more of the story of the day unfolding.
