Wedding at Holme Pierrepont Hall

Ailsa and Tom had their wedding at Holme Pierrepont Hall in Nottingham. It was a gorgeous day from start to finish and despite a few heavy showers, we still managed to get out for photos and get some gorgeous captures in the beautiful grounds of Holme Pierrepont Hall. It is my second visit to the venue, having shot a wedding in March at Holme Pierrepont. And I will tell you now it is quickly becoming a firm favourite to shoot at. Particularly after shooting some bridal portraits of Ails in the bridal bedroom. Oh my, the light was divine and that red wall was something else! Very excited about photographing there again!

Ailsa and Tom are clearly well loved by a lot of people and it was so lovely to see their friends and family come together for them and have a lot of fun on their wedding day. I particularly enjoyed the speeches. Tom and his brother are both clearly very funny when it comes to writing a good speech. I enjoyed them both thoroughly. I also loved that Ailsa broke with tradition and stood up to give a speech of her own! Go girl!! Another highlight was the two young boys break dancing on the dance floor at the end of the night. They were real super star dancers. And completely cleared the floor with their moves!
