Wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm
Sammi and Rob had a very yellow wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and I loved the splashes of yellow everywhere. Sammi’s dad even had a fabulous yellow hat for the occasion, which I loved! Sammi got ready at a little cottage she had rented for a couple days and it was the perfect little space to photograph all the girls getting ready in the morning. Furthermore, I loved Sammi’s 2-piece and she looked amazing! Most importantly, the vibe was pretty chill.
Vows
I love those little accidental moments that don’t always go to plan! Sammi was so focused on getting down the aisle to meet her groom that she forgot to bring her vows with her. As a result, there were a few giggles and a bit of a what-shall-we-do-now moment before super-bridesmaid ran to the rescue to fetch Sammi’s phone so she could read her vows. Phew! The moment was actually perfect and really just suited the laid back sense of fun that this wedding was all about.
It was all yellow
It was fun to take Sammi and Rob off for portraits around Inkersall Grange Farm. Knowing these two would be lots of fun to photograph due to their brilliant engagement shoot. Other elements of the day I loved were the gold spray painted dinosaurs on all the tables; along with the home grown herbs as centre pieces. I took some home and enjoyed cooking with them too! Seems like the yellow theme was embraced by the whole family. Certainly Sammi’s mum didn’t disappoint. Sammi’s mum’s Dr Marten shoes and yellow jumpsuit were fab! and all the sunflowers. I am partial to a bit of yellow, which is obviously Sammi’s favourite colour. It reflects her sunny personality and the whole wedding had sunny happy vibes going on just like those sunflowers!
