Laura and Andy got married in July this year, and had a lovely wedding at Bestwood Lodge hotel. Laura got ready at her mum and dad’s house in Kirkby in Ashfield and they had the wedding ceremony round the corner at St Wilfred’s church. It was a lovely moment watching Laura and her dad being driven up to the church in the rolls royce. The couple are both very close to their family, and this was so evident throughout the day. It was intimate and fun, and everyone had such a great time. I particularly liked the original table plan, designed by her friend Lizzy. It featured a map of New York, with 3D ornaments of iconic landmarks such as the statue of Liberty to mark table names. They did the room in Bestwood Lodge up beautifully, and it looked very grand. For couple portraits, we went for a little stroll up the wooded path just outside of Bestwood Lodge, which was a gorgeous little spot for portraits and the light perfect. Laura looked stunning in her princess A-line cut gown. And, particularly when we were in the woods, I thought she looked like she had come straight out of a fairy tale. Thanks to my second shooter Ben for helping out on the day and also a little mention to Stark films, who were providing video, and were also lots of fun and good company.
