A Wedding at Moddershall Oaks:

Jenny and Gaz had a lovely wedding at Moddershall Oaks. Jenny is a photographer herself (no pressure there then!) so thankfully was a very understanding bride. Particularly when it rained and I wanted her and all her bridesmaids out in the rain for photos! It was actually lots of fun and we got some great shots.

My couples often ask me what do we do if it rains? Answer – bring wellies! We made good use of our brollies and actually I got some lovely romantic shots of Jenny and Gaz in the rain that I love. Rain somehow gives a lovely light to the air and is actually sometimes beautiful to shoot in, between wiping rain-drops off the lenses! Well this gorgeous couple took it all in their stride and had an amazing day.

So much fun had by all. The ceremony was at their local church in Scholar Green, and then onto the lovely Moddershall Oaks. It was all very magical, romantic and fun. The pair made a lovely couple. The day was made all the more exciting by the news I got in the morning, that Jenny was expecting her first baby. SO there were really three people getting married. Thanks to my second shooter Ben for his help with the captures.
