Wedding at Hassop Hall

Alice and Ed’s wedding at Hassop Hall was classic, elegant and stylish with a strong mix of fun!

Devonshire Arms in Beeley

I met Alice at the Devonshire Arms in Beeley for her getting ready photographs. The atmosphere was pretty chilled out with all her bridesmaid besties hanging out, drinking Prosecco and doing hair and makeup.  Alice’s style was simple and classic, with a floaty elegant gown by Sassy Holford and beautiful white bouquet by Tineke. She wore her hair down and looked so pretty and fresh. I loved taking portraits of Alice by the window. The light was lovely and she looked stunning.

Classic Elegance

The ceremony was held at Hassop Hall and suited the styling perfectly. Everything was classic elegance, green foliage and classic white. Ivy was hanging from the ceiling and beautiful white florals and tapered candles adorned the gilt table a the front of the ceremony room. Alice walked in to a string quartet playing. Ed was looking very handsome waiting for her, and they were all smiles when they greeted one another. It was a lovely moment to photograph.

Wind-swept

We were lucky with the weather and it was bright and sunny most of the day, if a little windy at times! Luckily people weren’t too worried, and I like the wind swept look in photos! Its good fun! The confetti photographs were great. Everyone was being so blown around, and the confetti was going everywhere, I love those photos.

I took some fun photos with all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen before heading into the hall for dinner. tables looked exquisite. Again, all elegance and sophistication. The simplicity suited the venue and the couple. We took the pair out for some additional portraits in the evening. There are loads of nice spots for pictures at Hassop Hall. Alice and Ed looked gorgeous.

Evening dancing

Alice and Ed didn’t have a first dance. But the band set up and all guests and wedding party got on the dance floor for some dancing. We set up some off camera flashes to capture the dance floor action. And of course I had a little boogie myself too! 😉

Thanks to my second shooter Amy for helping me out on the day, and giving me some great OCF tips! x
