Micro wedding in Nottingham
Sabrina and Tom’s intimate wedding at Bridgford Hall was proof that the smallest weddings can still be full of emotion, laughter and beautiful moments. With just six guests, their ceremony at the West Bridgford Registry Office felt incredibly personal, followed by relaxed portraits in the surrounding park before they celebrated with family over lunch.
I’ve photographed many weddings at Bridgford Hall over the years, and it remains one of my favourite venues for intimate ceremonies. The ceremony rooms are filled with natural light and Bridgford Park offers beautiful locations for relaxed portraits just moments after saying “I do”.

Portraits
One of the things Sabrina mentioned before the wedding was that she loved the natural window-light portraits she’d seen on my Instagram. Before the ceremony we spent just a few quiet minutes creating those photographs in the beautiful light from the ceremony room windows. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy photographing at Bridgford Hall so much – even with a very small wedding, there are lovely opportunities for natural, relaxed portraits without taking couples away from their guests for long.
The ceremony itself took place in the smaller ceremony room in the building, since there were only 6 guests, so it kept things nice and intimate. Sabrina and Tom’s little girl was an absolute dream and took everything in her stride. After the ceremony we all went outside for some confetti throwing and family group shots, and then I walked around the park with Sabrina and Tom for a short couple shoot.
A beautiful intimate wedding at Bridgford Hall
After a few relaxed portraits around Bridgford Park, Sabrina and Tom headed off to celebrate with their family over lunch. It was a wonderfully relaxed wedding and a lovely reminder that a meaningful celebration doesn’t depend on the size of the guest list.
