Langar Hall wedding photography for Amy and Laurence

It was such a delight to be back with wedding photography at Langar Hall. Amy and Laurence had a beautiful day filled with lots of beautiful people having lots of Aperol Spritz (the booze envy was high at this wedding!) It also happened to be the day that England were playing Ukraine in the quarter final. So football was definitely on the menu too!

Football Haitus

There was a nice little break in the activity at Langar Hall, whilst everyone tuned in to watch the football live on the big screen. The first dance was pushed back and there was some serious down time for those not bothered about watching the game. Me included. However, this may have been my favourite part of the day as I just spent an hour sat chatting with Amy’s nana Clarice. I am all about the mingling and chatting this year! It’s the best way to spend a wedding. As well as taking pictures of course. And Nana’s always have so many interesting tales to tell. I got a few frenzied football fan photos too. I think Amy enjoyed chilling in the gardens whilst the football was going on.

Party central

It definitely felt like party central at Amy and Laurence’s wedding. Langar Hall is such an elegant venue with lots of charm. The bright orange front of the house gave it a feel of the Italian riviera, which was just as well, since Amy and Laurence’s original plans were to marry in Italy. As with many weddings at the moment, plans go out the window and new plans are embraced. I think they made the right choice and the wedding was a smash! Everyone was so happy and it just felt like a big party!
