Nottingham Council House Wedding

Claire and George had a small and intimate wedding at Nottingham Council House, and it was super fun to photograph! I love shooting weddings at Nottingham Council House. As Nottingham is my home City, there is nothing nicer than meeting your couple at the left Lion before their wedding! If you are a Nottingham person you will know all about meeting at the left Lion.

Laid back Nottingham wedding photography

My wedding photography is very relaxed and I take a laid back approach to photographing you. This is particularly suited to a Nottingham Council House wedding. I have photographed weddings big and small at the Council House over the years and I love them all. The Council House has various rooms to choose from for your ceremony to take place, from the grand old Ballroom to my favourite, the Lord Mayor’s Parlour.

The Lord Mayor’s Parlour

One thing I love about taking photos in The Lord Mayor’s Parlour at Nottingham Council House is the light is perfect for ceremony photos. And normally we have some time afterwards for a few portraits in this room. If you only want to book me for an hour or two, then there is plenty of opportunity during your short champagne reception to get some nice pictures in here. Then the staircase and the balcony gives us plenty more photo opportunities before wandering around Nottingham or towards your destination and a few more photos en route.
