I loved shooting Martine and Daniel’s wedding. They are such a lovely couple, and I knew after having met them at their engagement shoot that it would be fun. Martine looked absolutely gorgeous and it was so lovely photographing her getting ready. I even got the chance to watch the film Daniel had made for her to watch on the wedding morning, which was a video of him singing a song he had written for her. Beautiful. I left Martine’s house to go and meet Daniel and his groomsmen at the church. They had just stepped off the vintage bus with some of the other guests. And they all looked dapper in their tails and new haircuts. Short back and sides all round gave a vintage look that I loved. After the service, I took the newly weds for some pictures in the adjacent wheat field before we headed off to Ringwood Hall for the reception. Martine and Daniel had games laid out on the lawn, and I really enjoyed getting lots of candids of the guests at their wedding. Later we had a down pour, and I got some of my favourite wet wedding shots, with Martine eating ice-cream in her wellies. Classic!
