Kate and James picked a very hot day for their engagement shoot on the South Bank in London, and it was heaving. I am taking all my hats off to the pair who braved the heat and the crowds (if they were not used to public displays of affection, they are now!) for what turned out to be a brilliant shoot. I love coming to London for my couples’ pre wedding photo shoots. Having lived in the city for eight years, I do miss the buzz and the energy you get in London, and nowhere more so than London’s South Bank. The architecture is sublime, and it was so nice to feature the London backdrop more heavily that I normally do in my photos. Kate and James were a joy to photograph, although I think I am safe in saying it wasn’t James’ favourite thing in the world (and now I go and blog the pictures. Sorry James!) But they did brilliantly and I know Kate was delighted with the shots. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding a little later in the year.
Nice job!! Cheers
Ahh lovely Southbank. So much awesome colour and light. Fab work.
I love the beginning images… the umbrella at the splash pad… way to go! I love how you brought out the extraordinary in the ordinary. Such a great job!
Absolutely love how colourful this shoot is!
