An autumn wedding in Plumtree
EJ and James got married last November with a wedding at The Carriage Hall Plumtree. It was my last wedding of 2014, marking the end to a fantastic season in a fantastic way. I absolutely loved shooting their wedding. From start to finish it was just a joy filled day. The rain at the start of the day didn’t phase EJ in the slightest and she embraced the weather as any bride should, smiling her way through the rain drops.
Sophisticated bride
EJ looked so sophisticated and stylish in her Pronovias gown and I loved her hair, styled impeccably by the talented Helen Sutcliffe. And a little mention to the lovely Simone Cattell for the makeup too. James also looked amazing. I am a sucker for men in kilts, and the Scottish didn’t fail to disappoint. They even had a piper to play them in and out of church. Amazing!
Autumn Flowers
I loved the autumnal flower arrangements by Sophie’s Flower Company. The rain soon cleared up so we managed to get outside later for pictures, and the lovely little camper van was such a cute addition to their pictures. We ended the night with sparklers and I even managed to grab a few (rather drunk) and willing groomsmen who amazingly managed to keep the sparklers going with the letters L.O.V.E. Well done chaps! You can see the resulting photo at the end of this post.
Autumn at this Nottingham wedding venue in Plumtree is delightful. The colours on the trees are lovely at this time of year and make for some fantastic wedding photos.
