When Jenny and Tim first contacted me, and we had a little chat over Skype, I knew straight away that I would just LOVE their wedding. They made the Evening Standard news as they were the first couple to have a wedding at Battersea Park Band Stand. I am sure they won’t be the last! It was such an incredible place for a wedding. Tim arrived to the band stand in the morning and met his guests as they walked through the park to greet him. my second shooter Victoria captured some wonderful moments here building up to the wedding, whilst I was with Jenny and her entourage at the hotel getting ready. The weather held out perfectly for us, and the moment when Jenny walked down the tree lined path towards the band stand to meet her groom was just magical! We then all went to the Pump House Gallery for a couple of drinks before taking a London Bus to the pub for dinner. It was totally chilled, laid back, relaxed and fun, suiting Jenny and Tim and their brilliantly happy-go-lucky natures perfectly! The whole day was such fun, from champagne on the bus to crazy dancing on the crowded dance floor. Oh, and I loved Jenny and Tim’s first dance; no swaying to a soppy love song thank you very much. They jumped up and down to Happy Together by The Turtles. What a joy!
