Ellie and Jack's wedding at Our Ladies Convent School in Loughborough

Ellie and Jack got married at the Our Ladies Convent School in Loughborough; the same school Ellie attended from a young child. The place clearly had special memories for Ellie and made a lovely setting for their wedding day. The ceremony took place in the school chapel and the reception in the dining area. There was a lovely little courtyard for photos and the windows in the vestry gave us some lovely light for portraits indoors too, when there was a little rain.

The Dress

I loved Ellie’s beautiful Pronovias dress. She looked like a Hollywood Film star! It was so sophisticated and elegant and suited her figure beautifully. Ellie looked simply stunning and clearly had an impact on her dad and bridesmaids as she walked down the stairs when they saw her for the first time. I really enjoyed the morning preparations at Ellie’s parents house. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with pizza and champagne whilst they were getting ready. Some of my favourite pictures were Ellie with pizza in one hand and champagne glass in the other; standing in the garden in her fluffy mouse slippers. Its little moments like this that tell the story of the day. The morning was very sunny. We got some lovely pictures outside in the beaustiful garden during bridal prep, including a few in the treehouse that Ellie’s dad had built for his daughters when they were small.

Jack looked super dapper in his grey wool suit and I really liked the boys choice of ties.

I really love doing my video fusion alongside the photography and this quirky little video was lovely.
