"She has such an eye for creative shots"
Bridge House Barn Wedding
It has been an absolute pleasure going through these photographs again and remembering Bethany and Mark’s Bridge House Barn wedding.. They had such a brilliant fun day and it was an absolute blast to provide their photography on the day. From the tractor ride to the venue to the epic conga line that went in and out of the tipi, this wedding really was full of fun and laughter from start to finish and I think it shows in the photographs. I asked Bethany and Mark to pick their favourite five from the day, and they chose some cracking shots.
Bethany and Mark’s favourite five Bridegehouse Barn wedding photos:
ONE:
Bethany and Mark say:
Tractor – Arty and love how it captures our transport from the church to the venue! It really brings out the country theme
TWO:
Bethany and Mark say:
confetti shot – captures our pure happiness in one photo
THREE:
Bethany and mark say:
the bridesmaids reaction to my dress! Priceless!
FOUR:
Bethany and Mark say:
black and white close up and black and white hand holding walking in to the tipi as Mr and Mrs. I love the angle of these and how natural they are. They really capture our happiness that day!
FIVE:
Bethany and Mark say:
conga – This Emanates the happy, fun and wild atmosphere of the day!
What was the best decision you made about your wedding day? (advice to future couples)
Having two photographers to capture absolutely everything! Also to have more natural photographs 🙂
Is there anything you would do differently? (advice to future couples)
Maybe give the photographer specific people you would like a photograph with but naturally ie Mother of the bride and bride
Can you remember how you found out about Kathryn Edwards Photography?
Marks cousin recommended her as they had Kathryn for their wedding. Abi and Jake Clements I thought you were fab, getting involved in the day and having fun!
[thanks you guys! x]
My favourite 36 from this gorgeous rustic Bridge House Barn wedding:
It was difficult to narrow it down on this one as it was a day full of wonderful moments and having the wonderful Carolyn Brown with me to help capture it, meant I had an awful lot of fabulous shots of hers to go through as well. I enjoyed the getting ready part of the day. It was full of fun and having six bridesmaids around and a couple of babies too certainly added to this. The flower girl and page boy were super cute and I loved that shot that Carolyn got of the girl being flung into the air so her skirt flew over her face. It just looked like little legs coming out of a fluffy cloud, I absolutely adore that shot.
Bouquets at Bridgehouse Barn wedding
Another one of my favourites from my wedding photography at Bridge House barn is the one where all the bridesmaids flung their bouquets at me. I love the expressions on their faces behind the bouquet that was hurtling towards me! Great moment! Everyone was lots of fun and participated in all the singing and dancing in the evening. There were singing waiters that Bethany’s sister had organised on the sly and they made for great entertainment, getting everyone up for a conga after the meal. It was great!
The dancing in the evening was fabulous. I got some lovely shots of Bethany and her sister singing along to a track from dirty dancing that they were clearly attached to! And then all Bethany’s girl friends got her up in the air for “I’ve had the time of my life” it was wonderful!
