Wedding Photography at Abbey Farm
This Saturday I photographed a wedding at Abbey Farm in Lincolnshire. Sam got ready at her parents house, which was just down the road from the church. which in turn was a 5 minute drive to the rustic Abbey Farm. The beautiful spot where the reception took place. My first wedding photography at Abbey Farm, I loved the venue. Great for a relaxed vibes wedding and lovely accommodating owners, who even let me take a photograph from her son’s bedroom window; as it was the only way to get the whole wedding party in a shot! Only taking on 10 weddings a year, the farm really is a unique spot for a wedding, and ideally situated in the Lincolnshire countryside.
Loads of confetti
Sam and Will made sure there were a good few baskets of confetti. We actually had to line people up along the road outside of the church, there were so many guests and so much confetti. I love taking photos of the confetti run, as you get such great confetti faces. I’ve only included one in my ten below but I have a whole bunch. And Sam had a whole bunch of confetti down her dress afterwards too!
Luckily, we popped back to the house for photos with their dog Ruby, also giving Sam the opportunity to empty her dress of confetti. And what a gorgeous dress it was. A lovely low back and full silken skirt, it looked so lovely on her. I can’t wait to finish the edit and share the final set with Sam and Will in a couple of weeks, but here is a nice little sneak peek of some of my faves.
