Remote Photography in Lockdown

Remote photography by Kathryn Edwards

When a photographer is stuck at home but has discovered an app to take photos anywhere around the world via the power of innovative technology. This is what happens! Remote photography in Lockdown. Last weekend I booked up 12 portrait sessions. And I have 12 more booked in this weekend. It is safe to say I am addicted!

Below are a few photos from each of my half hour sessions. Each model received over 20 photos sent straight to their phone via the app. And I have a whole new direction for my other instagram account! If you want your own remote portraits in lockdown, do get in touch. It is great fun, takes just half an hour and you don’t need to leave the comfort of your own home.

I love remote photography

EDIT: I have now been doing remote photography for a couple of months and photographed 82 remote portraits and many more booked in. It is such a fantastic new direction for my photography, and a brilliant way to get creative during lockdown. I find being able to direct my models in this way to be creatively challenging too, and something I have throughly enjoyed. I have added to my virtual photography blogs with more photos. Check them out!
