Jo & Huw
Wedding photography at Widbrook Grange
It’s like rain on your wedding day…
Firstly, I would like a word with Alannis Morisette because I think rain on your wedding day is pretty damn fine by me! I love running between raindrops and avoiding puddles and finding some great little spots for pictures with umbrellas. This was all entirely possible in my wedding photography at Widbrook Grange. When the rain stops, the light can be pretty great for photos. Jo and Huw rocked it, taking it in their stride and having the best most wonderful rainy January wedding ever!
About time…
After around three or four postponements (I’ve lost count by this point) this resilient couple planned their wedding in around 12 weeks. They booked the fabulous Widbrook Grange for their nuptials. Embracing the winter weather for their eventual 2023 wedding and it was worth the wait!
From the chaos of having more toddlers than were anticipated in their original wedding plans; to the moving speeches, and the hilarious after eights challenge; this was a fun day! Scroll down to see some hilarious captures of wedding guests and the particularly expert bride contorting their faces in order to get an after eight from forehead to mouth!
Its a family affair…
I photographed Jo’s sister Sarah’s wedding to Abeed several years ago. So it was lovely to reunite with the whole family and see Sarah and Abeed’s little family had doubled since I last saw them. It was great to grab a quick family portrait of them all together. Also great to see Rachel and Graham again. It is a privilege to photograph weddings. And to be invited back to photograph friends and family years later is so special.
