- The big barn for the ceremony and evening dancing, with a stage that is perfect for both.
- Getting ready rooms on site
- The fields and landscapes and rustic barns over the road that make for a great photographic backdrop.
Pretty and rustic wedding vibes
I do love a Donington Park Farmhouse Wedding. This one was no exception. Furthermore the styling was so pretty and rustic, suiting the venue choice perfectly. Millie and Rhys had their wedding ceremony and reception at Donington Park Farmhouse and I knew I would love photographing them. They make such a cute couple and they both looked particularly gorgeous on their wedding day.
I met Millie in her hotel room amidst the hustle and bustle of all the girls getting ready and she told me she had already been a little flustered what with adjustments to her dress only completed the day before and florist making last minute adjustments to her bouquet. I told her as I alway do that everything was going to be OK. Because it always is. There is so much stress leading up to a wedding and it can sometimes be a little overwhelming. But everything was fine. And Millie and Rhys’s wedding was no exception. It was a wonderful day and everything worked out just wonderfully in the end!

Rustic prettiness at Donington Park Farmhouse
A Donington Park Farmhouse wedding is always laid back and fun and really pretty. Firstly those gorgeous table decorations and secondly the yummy scrummy looking cake by Cakes by Rhiannon. To top it off, they had the brilliant Burgundy’s playing in the evening, which is always good fun. I love a bit of rustic charm that a barn wedding will offer. All those wooden beams and farm doors and tractors and fields of wheat. Such a wonderful setting for a wedding. And really great to photograph a wedding here.
