The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall is a lovely rustic wedding venue situated close to the historic Market Town of Market Harborough. In a rural location bordering Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, the venue is perfect for your rustic boho wedding vibes. The Woodlands is tucked away next to the grand Georgian Manor House of Hothorpe Hall. The Woodlands venue has been modernised and is situated within the tranquil woods that surround it. There is even a luxury treehouse for the bride and groom to retreat to.

Rural rustic charm

There are plenty of beautiful charming spots for your wedding photography within these 12 acres of private estate. Including a little bridge over a stream and some fields behind. The wooden structures of the cabins also provide a great backdrop for your rustic wedding. I loved taking pictures of Tom and his groomsmen in the morning here.

Bridal Preparations

I enjoyed meeting Ellen at North Lodge, which is the bridal cottage just outside the gates of Hothorpe Hall. It is the perfect spot for getting ready before your wedding. Ellen’s bridesmaids looked amazing in their different muted tones that matched the bouquets so well. Ellen herself was a vision in her Allison Louise bridal gown. I really enjoyed taking her bridal portrait at the cottage before shooting off to meet Tom and his groomsmen at the Woodlands.

The modern reception venue with glass windows is great for nice bright photos
The outdoor ceremony venue in the woodlands is a beautiful peaceful spot for a wedding.
