Wedding Photography at Hothorpe Hall and Woodlands
I have been lucky enough to return several times over the years for wedding photography at Hothorpe Hall and Woodlands. Both the Woodlands venue and Hothorpe Hall provide a fantastic backdrop for photos. You can view a few of my favourites below and following this, my first wedding here. Amanda and Ashley
This gorgeous pair had a wonderful bohemian feel to their wedding photography at Hothorpe Hall and Woodlands. They actually got married in the woodlands bit of the venue, with an outdoor ceremony conducted by Jo Clarke. I loved all the flowers lining the rustic benches and the big wooden letters. All the details were super creative and Amanda and Ashley did a lot of it themselves. Including the giant MR & MRS letters on the lawn. This was most effective! I also particularly loved the naked wedding cake, adorned with fruit and flowers. The cake also had Amanda and Ashley’s dogs made out of icing ontop of it. The woodlands provided the perfect backdrop for this pretty bohemian wedding and I absolutely adored taking photos here.
Giant Wedding Balloons
Amanda and Ashley had some giant balloons which we used in some of they wedding photography at Hothorpe Hall and the Woodlands. They looked awesome and I particularly liked some of the pictures of them on the field holding the balloons. Take a look at another wedding I photographed with giant balloons! There were plenty of lovely spots for photographs and I really enjoyed having a little explore with the couple to find some ace places to shoot. It was nice to take pictures of the bridesmaids in the woodlands too. They all looked so pretty together with their floaty dresses and beautiful summer flower bouquets.
I have picked 36 photos for the blog (like a roll of film) but you can see more images on the slide show at the bottom of the post. Amanda and Ashley also booked me for my video fusion. So you can also view the quirky little video I made for them. It was lots of fun. I loved the relaxed feel of the wedding, with guests chilling out on the giant colourful beanbags or playing croquet on the lawn. The weather was super hot and perfect for outdoor games. They had a Photo Booth in the evening and lots of dancing. Altogether a fabulous day. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Big thanks to my second shooter Mark for getting some awesome pictures for me on the day and great company as always.
