Autumnal Wedding at Packington Moor
Emma and Simon had a beautiful autumnal wedding at Packington Moor. The gorgeous rustic barn venue made for the perfect backdrop for their autumn nuptials. It was such a beautiful crisp sunny autumn day and the styling (mainly done by Emma herself) was simply gorgeous! I loved Emma’s flower crown and bouquet (which she made herself) and her gorgeous boho gown. Simon’s purple checkered suit was like something out of Peeky Blinders and together they just looked super cool! I asked Emma to share a few of their favourite photos from the day. Its a new feature to my blogs now as I think its really interesting to see which pictures my couples pick as their favourites. These are Emma’s top five!

Some of these are actually my favourites too. But super nice to see their picks.
36 from me:
It was difficult choosing just 36 photos. The styling was sumptuous and the details were plenty, so there are many lovely photos I have not included. However, if you are keen to see more, do scroll down to the highlights slide show at the bottom of the post. They also opted for my video fusion package. So I have added their video to the bottom of the post too in case you are interested in viewing it.
Meanwhile, here are some of my faves and I will tell you why I like some of them. This first picture makes me smile because I know exactly what Simon is looking at. A few months earlier, Emma had secretly arranged a boudoir session with me and she looked super hot. It was a gift for Simon and I knew he would love it. Well just look at that smile on his face. My second shooter Laura took this one, but I loved coming across this shot in the edit. Perfect!
Family:
Emma has two girls from a previous relationship, both of whom Simon has embraced as a part of their new family together and you could tell the girls both had a close and warm relationship with him too. So this photo of Simon with Emma’s youngest daughter Jessica on the morning of the wedding was a lovely capture.
Gifts:
Emma was also in for a treat from Simon in the morning as he created a gorgeous box full of treats for her to open. It was like Christmas morning, watching her open all the thoughtful little presents from Simon. One of my favourites was a wooden duck with wellies that actually matched Emma’s. Simon stuck yellow bows on them to match Emma’s. I got a shot of Emma and the duck together later on in the day, which you can see if you scroll down a bit…
Details:
The details that went into the styling were amazing. Emma did most of it herself, and her attention to detail was exquisite. I mean just look at this pumpkin. I love it! If any brides are looking for some gorgeous styling for their own wedding, Emma has since created a little business of her own, called the Watering Can. You can see her creations over on Instagram. Follow @thewateringcan2. She has a good eye for this kinda stuff and a lot of hard work went into creating all the wonderful details for her own wedding…
Special moments:
I love this one of Simon as he watches Emma and her bridesmaids walking down the aisle. The beaming smile says it all. Emma’s daughter Jessica was a Leaf girl, and scattered leaves as she walked down the aisle. And she certainly did it in style!
I LOVE THIS ONE TOO! And my second shooter Laura took it as I was doing the group shot from the window. Nice one Laura!! (her details are in the credits at the bottom of the post)
Those autumn leaves!! *insert heart eyes emoji*
I mean! Come on!!! Look at these two! *Swoon*
The duck photo I told you about!! Love it!
