West Bridgford Hall Wedding Photography
Bridgford Hall wedding photography: I have been photographing weddings at Bridgford Hall many times over the years and always really enjoy the weddings here. Situated in the middle of West Bridgford Park the hall is perfectly located for small wedding ceremonies in Nottingham. I have photographed lots of micro weddings here and it is the perfect location to get married.
Reasons to get married at Bridgford Hall
- The central location in West Bridgford with lots of lovely restaurants to retreat to for dinner after your ceremony.
- Situated right in the middle of a leafy park, making it perfect for couple portraits after your wedding.
- The ceremony room has windows on three sides, making it lovely and bright for photos.
- The steps outside are a great spot for confetti photos.
- The Registry Office is situated in a beautiful listed building with two striking ceremony rooms featuring chandeliers and views across the park.
- Accommodation upstairs at Birchover residences.
- Loads of parking in the adjacent carpark.
A small wedding
Even though this was a very small wedding, just out of lockdown, it was still incredibly hard to select just 10 photos to sum up the day! This wedding was such a joy to photograph. Not least because Rhianna and Tom are lovely, but also it was my first wedding since the Lockdown! So it was an utter delight to be back doing what I love best. I met Rhianna at her home in Edwalton for a few portraits in the morning, before heading over to the West Bridgford Registry office for a beautiful intimate wedding, with a few family and friends. I felt very privileged to be one of the very few people allowed to be inside for the ceremony. It was really wonderful. It was fitting to be back at the same venue I photographed at just before Lockdown!
Confetti
Rhi and Tom’s friends waited outside in the park, and sneaked a peek at the ceremony through the windows. It was very strange and funny and lovely all at once. It must have felt so bizarre for Rhi and Tom, but they just waved at their onlookers through the windows and got on down with the wedding. We could only be inside for 15 minutes. And afterwards, friends and family were waiting to shower the gorgeous couple with bright and beautiful confetti.
Classic Cars
Rhi and Tom both arrived at their wedding in gorgeous vintage cars. And drove off in one of them. It was a wonderful moment waving them off at the end of the day as they made their way to their reception, to greet more guests in a socially distanced way. I wish them all the very best and look forward to taking a few snaps at their further celebrations when things are safe to do so!
