Hothorpe Hall Wedding
I love returning to Hothorpe Hall for a wedding. One of my fave venues, its always such a pleasure to shoot at and I get the best weddings there. This was no exception. Jess and Steve lucked out with an exceptionally warm and sunny wedding day. They were such a lovely couple to work with and I had a great time photographing their Hothorpe Hall wedding.
Just love them! And Jess looked so amazing in her beautiful wedding dress, I really enjoyed taking portraits of her in the bridal suite at Hothorpe Hall. There were just too many to chose from. But I loved the one of her standing in the middle of the room. Just stunning!
The ceremony itself was so beautiful. they came out to guests chucking confetti and then onto the lawn where Mango Jukebox played some requests. Those guys are so good. Jess and Steve have picked their favourite 5 wedding pictures and I am so excited to share their top pics!
Jess and Steve’s top 5
One: “This is one of my favourite pictures of Steve and the groomsmen as it is an informal feel to it.”
Two: “This was the moment my bridesmaids first saw me in my dress and i love that the moment was captured”
Three: “Just love seeing everyones emotions in this picture it reminds me of the emotions i felt walking down the aisle just from this one picture”
Four: “This was i believe when i went a little too early on the I Do! It is wonderful to have this moment captured”
Five: “I couldn’t decide about these two but they are some of our favourites we got so lucky with the weather which is clearly shown in these two images. I just love them” – (the other one is at the top of the page.)
What was the best decision you made about your wedding day? (advice to future couples)
I think the best decision we made was the feel for the wedding, we wanted the day to be relaxed and fun for all out guests as it reflected our personalities. Once that was decided everything else fell into place pretty easily from the entertainment to the decorations for the day.
Is there anything you would do differently? (advice to future couples)
There isn’t anything differently we would do for us it was the perfect day.
Can you remember how you found out about Kathryn Edwards Photography?
We found out about Kathryn through the venues recommended suppliers list
It really was a wonderful day, and I found it difficult selecting just 36 images. But here is my selection from the day.
