An Industrial Mill wedding
I was delighted to be second shooting at this Industrial Mill wedding for Simon Dewey Photography. It is such a wonderful venue and a pleasure to be helping Simon at this fantastic wedding. Wedding photography at The West Mill is certainly a photographer’s dream as there is so much potential for gorgeous photos both inside and out. It is a beautiful quirky venue with windows galore. And for someone like me, who just loves a bit of window light, this is just a dream!
Second Shooting
I really enjoy second shooting. It is a great opportunity to be creative, and to try new things without the added pressure of being the main photographer. It also really helps me to see the benefits of having a second shooter at your wedding. I offer a second shooter in my middle package, along with a complimentary engagement shoot, and I think the added cost is extremely good value. I really enjoy working with a second shooter, so I keep the cost low. The main benefits are having another photographer available to cover the groom preparations in the morning. Also take photos from the back of the ceremony. Along with additional candid shots of the guests during the wedding reception. When Simon showed me some of my photos from this wedding photography at the West Mill, I was delighted to add some to my website and showcase the benefits of having a second photographer.
Relaxed photography
The West Mill is a great venue for relaxed quirky and alternative photography. Its rustic/industrial charm making it perfect for some awesome wedding photography. I can’t wait to shoot there again, perhaps next time as the main photographer. But be sure to book in a second if you want that lovely extra coverage.
